The PA-VOX headset offers two modes of operation:

• VOX MODE provides for hands-free voice activation
• PTT MODE provides a manual "push-to-talk" operation

Fits all handheld radios that have separate speaker and microphone jacks.

The PA-VOX provides a VOX function (voice activated) for radios that do not have built-in VOX. This provides hands-free operation of your radio.

When you begin talking, the radio will automatically switch to transmit mode. When you stop talking, the radio will switch to receive mode.

Additional features:

• Sensitivity control to adjust the microphone sensitivity (adjust how loud you need to talk before the radio starts transmitting). If there is loud background noise then you would turn down the sensitivity so that the background noise does not activate the transmitter.
• Includes a switch so that you can use VOX mode or regular push-to-talk mode.
• Boom microphone lets you adjust the position of the microphone.
• The control box has a belt clip.
• Adjustable head strap.

Requires one AAA battery (not included).

PLEASE NOTE that this headset will work only on Cobra radios that have dual jacks (separate jacks for speaker and microphone).
